Culinary Services Director
One of the north Eastside’s premier, upscale retirement communities seeks experienced and enthusiastic Culinary Services Director to oversee a multi-faceted culinary and dining program. A commitment to the highest quality standards both in the kitchen and dining room is essential. Qualified candidates will oversee a program that produces both excellent back-of-house chef-prepared meals and an unparalleled front of house dining experience for both residents and guests.
Excellent people management skills are critical to the success of this position, which includes oversight of both a traditional, restaurant-style dining room and a separate Bistro featuring fresh, seasonal menus and specials prepared to order. This is a hands-on position that requires prior training and experience in healthy and delicious chef-prepared meals, excellent customer service and management of an energetic dining room service and cooking team. Qualified candidate will direct seasonal menu preparations, coordinate food orders and ensure kitchen and dining room standards of safety and cleanliness. Experience working with staffing plans and budgets required. The Culinary Service Director will successfully work with and through dining room managers and cooks/chefs in both the dining room and Bistro settings.
